Ok, for all of you who are confused with the ranking system and what is required to increase your rank and/or rights, here's a few things to keep in mind:

Ranks and/or rights are strongly based on trust, exp donation, and the amount of dedication you put into the guild.

Also note: Each time you move up a rank, you get a right. Sometimes, however, I may not give a right if you rank up. When this happens, don't be alarmed. It just means that the right is based strongly on trust and that I have to get to know you better.

The alt character's exp will no longer be combined with the main character's exp. The rank is based off of the higher exp donated between the two.

Regular Ranks:
The Regular Ranking System is followed unless specially assigned otherwise. The majority of guild members will be following this system.

Rank	Description	Exp Needed	Other Requirements	New Right
On Trial	Members who first join the guild are automatically placed On Trial. The leader can then evaluate the newcomer to see if they fit into our community.	None	None	None
Apprentice	This rank is reserved for members who have been in the guild for at least a week but do not yet have the exp needed to move to Initiate. Basically, we feel as though you're a good addition to our guild, but you're still deciding if this guild is right for you. This rank will be skipped if the exp requirement is met before a week.	None	You've been in the guild for a week and are active. However, if the guildy has been this rank for over a month, he/she will be kicked due to lack of guild participation.	None
Initiate	This rank is where the rights start accumulating. You've now officially decided that Dark Elites is the place you want to be and have donated some exp to prove that you want to be here.	5.000	Game activity is important.	Distribute XP
Secretary	This rank is the next step after Initiate. You have proven yourself slightly trustworthy.	20.000	Game activity is required.	None
Diplomat	This rank follows after Secretary. You've proven yourself friendly, somewhat trustworthy, and active in-game. You are also slightly active in the guild forums and eager to help guild members when in need.	40.000	Game activity is a major role, along with some guild forum activity.	Use the Paddocks
Scout	Defending collectors when you can is an important factor. With this rank, you receive a bit more responsibility and should go to pretty good lengths for the guild.	60.000	Game activity, aiding guild members, forum activity, and collector defending are all key factors.	None
Guard	This rank encourages you to stand up for the guild and requires a bit more work. Again, trust and being active plays a big role. You must help out the guild when needed and take part in the guild forums.	85.000	Level 100 at least, forum activity, game activity, perc defending, and helping those that may need you are all factors. Servant	With this rank, you are dedicated to the guild. Helping out guild members is required, along with defending guild collectors from time to time. More responsibility lies on your shoulders.	110.000	Level 100 at least, forum activity, game activity, perc defending, and helping those that may need you are still factors. Reservist	Dedication is a must. Reservists generally help defend collectors whenever they can. Trust is a major factor due to added rights involved.	140.000	Level 100 at least, forum activity, game activity, perc defending, and helping those that may need you are still factors. Protector	One of the highest ranks, protectors must defend percs whenever they're available, aid guildies when in need, and help with guild progress to the best of their ability.	180.000	Level 100 at least, forum activity, game activity, perc defending, and helping those that may need you are a must. Treasurer	The third highest rank, treasurers have major weight on their shoulders. They must make sure every guildy is happy, keep percs from dying when attacked, and aid new members when help is needed. Note: Do not manage other member's mounts without asking first. Doing so will get you booted.	230.000	Level 100 at least, forum activity, game activity, perc defending, and helping those that may need you are a demand.	Manage the mounts of the other members
Second in Command	Second in Commands are by far the second highest rank to achieve in the guild. They are basically the second leader, in charge of most things that go on in the guild, including organizing events, moderating the forums, recruiting new members, banning corrupt guild members, ranking members, making sure everyone is content, and bearing the weight of all rights: a HUGE responsibility! This rank is by appointment only. Also Note: Second in Commands will not exceed our limit of 4. If the limit is reached or SweetAngel does not feel the person is ready to become a SiC even though the required exp is donated, the Treasurer rank will be kept.	250.000 at least	Forum activity, game activity, perc defending, helping those in need, moderating the forums, moderating the guild, helping guild progress, constantly being on the look out for new members, and planning events are a must and demand! MAJOR trust is involved.	Manage boosts, Manage rights, Invite new members, Manage ranks, and ban (Second in Commands have all rights)
Leader	The Leader is the founder of Dark Elites.	None	Everything mentioned of all the previous ranks	All rights

Special Ranks:
The Special Ranking System is designed to stand out guild members when deserving. If you see a special rank listed and would like to change your current rank for a rank below, please send SweetAngel a private message on the forums or in-game and she will consider.

Rank	Description
Craftsman	To achieve this rank, you have to have at least 3 professions at level 100 on the character being ranked.
Pet Killer	This person generally kills pets with the butcher profession.
Poacher	This rank is for anyone who has a higher level hunter profession.
Spy	This person is designated to be the one to join other guilds and spy on them using an alt character.
Treasure Hunter	This person has special collector rights. This rank will be decided if the leader feels anyone is deserving of it.
Murderer	This rank is reserved for a high level member(lvl 100 ) which will then be sent to defeat (agress) anyone for any offenses made toward the guild.
Recruiting Officer	This rank is reserved for members with special inviting and XP distribution rights in order to recruit new guildies to the guild.
Governor	This rank is designed especially for those who enjoy helping new people to the guild and showing them "the ropes".
Muse	This rank will be given to any silent guildies who don't talk all that much and voice their opinions. This rank will be a source of inspiration to those certain few and may get them to express themselves more in guild chats.
Counselor	This rank is for those who actively encourage others to go beyond themselves and reach out to be the best they can be. They can also help guild members with any problems they may have trouble facing (such as a fight with a friend of theirs or someone giving them a hard time for example). All problems are to be confidential and not confided in anyone. If this vow of secrecy is not kept, the counselor may be at risk of being banned from the guild.
Chosen One	This rank will be used in the Election System. The people with this rank will have special privileges as the leader. For more information, visit the Election System of the forums. Currently not used.
Guide	Those that have large amounts of knowledge about Dofus will receive this rank. Keep in mind, you must have played Dofus for at least 2 years.
Mentor	People with this rank are encouraged to train and leech low level guild mates. Mentors are generally Sadidas and Agility Iops.
Breeder	These members receive special rights involving the paddocks. Guildy must have at least 40.000 exp towards the guild to get this rank. Trust is also a key factor.
Merchant	If a collector is about to be attacked, the chance of successfully defeating the attackers are low, and the perc's owner is not available, merchants have the right to collect from the perc about to be destroyed and give the materials back to the perc's owner once he/she is available or sell the materials and donate the profit for guild progress. Merchants will be carefully observed for theft.

Negative Ranks:
The Special Ranking System is designed to stand out guild members when deserving. If you see a special rank listed and would like to change your current rank for a rank below, please send SweetAngel a private message on the forums or in-game and she will consider.

Rank	Description
Deserter	This rank is for guild members who have been away from the game for more than 10 days. If they can't be contacted in a certain time period, these members are booted.
Nuisance	This rank is reserved for guildies who are annoying and childish. If the behavior keeps up, the guild member will be booted so be wary if you see you have this rank.
Torturer	This rank goes to guildies who have attacked AND killed an allied perc. All rights are taken away temporarily, and the guildy must pay for the perc loss. If a second offense takes place, the guildy will be booted.
Penitent	This rank is a disciplinary rank for those who committed serious offenses toward the guild but not serious enough to get booted. You will either lose all rights or get them taken away temporarily, depending on how serious the offense.

Undecided Ranks:
The Undecided Ranking System displays ranks that the guild can't seem to find a use for. If you have possible suggestions, feel free to send a private message to SweetAngel on the forums or in-game.

Unused Ranks:
The Unused Ranking System displays ranks that are not to be used presently.

Rank	Description
Traitor	This rank will not be used. If you do something bad enough to deserve this rank, you would be immediately booted.

Updated (December 22, 2008):

The "Manage Ranks" right has been given to only Second in Commands.
"Manage the distribution of XP" right has been switched around to rank Protector and up.
The "Other Requirements" description has been edited for the rank Apprentice.
