Rules and Regulations (a MUST read) Empty
PostSubject: Rules and Regulations (a MUST read)   Rules and Regulations (a MUST read) EmptyThu Jun 26, 2008 6:34 am

Dark Elites was built for one main purpose: helping each other and making new friends.

Rudeness, cockiness, and degrading others are NOT tolerated and will
result in a ban.

Note: There's another guild running around Dofus with the same logo and 2 spaces between "Dark" and "Elites" in the guild name. They aren't in any way connected with this guild.

Our guild information site on wiki is: http://guildopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Elites

Main Policies

Rules and Regulations (a MUST read) W2nmds

  1. English please.
This is an English speaking guild. It would be easier and less complicated if everyone spoke one language. Since most people on the International server know English, this will be the language spoken.

  2. Be active!
If you aren't active, you get booted. I do an active check every week on Sundays. If you aren't online for more than 10 days, you will receive a pm/email from me asking why you have been inactive. If I do not receive a reply or have no way to contact you, you will be booted after 20 days of being inactive. However, if you tell me beforehand that you'll be going away for a long period of time, you will not be removed from the guild. You can also post that you'll be away in our "Alerts!" section on the forums. Inactive guildies that have been in the guild for more than 3 months will be considered during my inactive checks and may stay in longer than the 20 day limit.

  3. At least a 1% exp distribution must be donated.
A 1% exp distribution doesn't take away much of your own exp. With a 1% exp distribution requirement, the guild will continuously level. As a result, we'll be able to increase our member, house, and paddock capacity. This will help the guild grow.

  4. This is a guild for main characters only.
I'm sorry, but if you have your main character in another guild and expect to join this one with an alt, we cannot accept you. Alts are only allowed if you have a main character already in the guild. However, exceptions can be made for past guildies who wish to stay in the guild with an alt. Alts who only log on the game to feed pets will be removed, for the alt is neither contributing in any way nor is active in the guild.

  5. You're responsible for your character's actions, no matter who's using the account.
So, if you share accounts, warn your friends about alliances and make sure they understand our rules. You will be blamed for anything your friend does with your account, and you will be the one that faces the consequences. So, make sure your friends are informed!

  6. Respect others and their opinions.
Not only respect guild members, but respect those outside the guild as well. We have a reputation to keep. If you're found putting another person down or insulting in any way, rest assured that you'll be faced with negative consequences depending on how bad the action was. To keep things short: Just don't be offensive. Not everyone has the same opinion as you.

  7. Act your age.
Maturity is hugely stressed. It will be expected from you. There's nothing more shameful than to be booted because you were acting like a little child.

  8. Help others as best you can.
It's not that much to lend a hand every now and then when someone may need it. I will also do my part.

  9. Watch the guild chat every now and then.
Some info typed on there is important. I understand that sometimes you may want the guild chat off and that's alright. But don't have it off the whole time you're on the game.

  10. Don't be pesty.
This includes bugging me to increase your rank, repeatedly asking which rank you'll get next, begging for money nonstop, begging to be leeched 24/7, and continuously asking for items. I will give you things, but it happens randomly. Don't ask repeatedly for something. I don't reward greedy behavior, and taking part in such behavior may result in removing you from the guild. Also, higher level members are willing to help new and low level players to progress, BUT you will be expected to be self-sufficient for leveling yourself as well. Do not bug members of the guild to level you. We will try our best to help, but you are expected to spend time leveling yourself. Note: If you want to know which rank you'll receive next, check the ranking system located here.

  11. Don't make sexual references.
It's fine you like to do some things, but keep that kind of info to yourself. The world doesn't need to know about it. If it's a short joke of some sort, that's alright. We like humor. However, jokes that may put women/men down are not tolerated. A joke is only funny if it does not hurt the person listening to it.

  12. Agressing guild members is a no-no.
You may challenge guild members to fight you.. but agressing them when they're the opposite alignment? No, not if they don't allow it. They're part of your guild. Smile If you do have the need to agress someone, you can always go alignment hunting. If you absolutely have to agress a guildy, you are expected to ask him/her if it's ok. Doing otherwise will result in negative consequences. Of course, if the guild member does not want to be agroed, you must respect his/her wishes.

Collector Policies

Rules and Regulations (a MUST read) 2v8o55j

  1. Don't attack allied percs.
    Enough said.

  2. Don't insult perc attackers/defenders.
It's nothing but rude and childish behavior. Instead, what you can do is give them a nice warm hello to let them know you're friendly. ^_^ If you insult by mistake, you are expected to apologize.

  3. Lucas Do'Arlock can be pet but not killed!
Lucas Do'Arlock can be found on the top floor of our Big Baker House. He's our personal mascot and is from the guild Dark Elites Jr. However, he is not allowed to be killed. If he is killed by a fellow Dark Elites member, we will treat this killing like we would any of our other allied percs.

  4. You are allowed up to 2 percs at one time.
If you have 2 characters in the guild, you all have to share 2 collectors. If there is no room to place any more percs, a guildy that does not have a perc up can ask a guild member that has 2 percs up to remove one if need be. 2 collectors cannot be placed if a guildy intends to log off for a period of time. If the guildy does log off, he/she can only have one perc up. If there are 2 percs up and the guildy is logged off, Treasurers, Second in Commands, or the Leader can remove one of the guildy's percs and donate the resources collected to the guild or return the resources to the owner (screen shot the collected resources please).

  5. Only collect from guild collectors you placed.
Unless the owner of the collector says you may collect from his/her collector, don't collect. Anyone found collecting from a collector that he/she did not place, and the owner did not say it was ok, will suffer the consequences. A list of of guildies ok with having their collectors collected from can be found in the next post below.

  6. Only 1 perc per area is allowed, including the Field Dungeon
The Field Dungeon is considered an area. Therefore, only 1 collector is allowed there. This is so other guilds have a spot to place a perc as well, and we don't just dominate the field dungeon.

  7. When a collector gets attacked in a dungeon and you're below level 130, please don't defend.
In dungeons, only 2 members can defend. Leave the spaces available for a level 130+. If there is still space to join when the bar almost reaches the top, anyone below level 130 can defend.

Paddock Policies

Rules and Regulations (a MUST read) Nfl0di

  1. When inactively breeding, only 5 mounts are allowed in the paddock per person.
If you are actively breeding, you can put in as many mounts as needed, but take them out once you're done breeding. Also, if a breeding item is taken out to put in another breeding item of a different kind, remember to put back in the original breeding item (unless empty or higher durability) before leaving. If this is not done, Second in Commands and I have the right to take the breeding items or mounts out of the paddock.. and return these to you when you log on or aren't busy.

Now that that's all said and done, welcome and thank you for choosing Dark Elites!
